If your store has stopped taking orders, broken after an update, or you have simply lost contact with whoever built it, we can pick it up from where it is. We are an EU-based technical ecommerce team working remotely with businesses across the UK, and WooCommerce is what we work on every day.

Seven years in ecommerce

We have spent seven years building, repairing and maintaining WooCommerce and WordPress stores for businesses that sell every day.

Initial diagnosis within 48 hours

Tell us what is happening and you get our first read on the likely cause, plus what fixing it would involve.

Remote work with UK businesses

Access review, diagnosis, repairs and ongoing support are all done remotely. No travel costs, no waiting for a site visit.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Something has broken

  • The store stopped working after a WordPress or WooCommerce update
  • Checkout does not complete, or orders arrive incomplete
  • A payment gateway has stopped talking to the store
  • Plugin or theme conflicts appeared after an update
  • PHP or WordPress errors show on the shop front or in the admin
  • The cart or product pages no longer render correctly
  • An integration with another system has stopped syncing
  • Something broke after a hosting move or a PHP version change

Nobody is looking after it

  • The developer who built the store has disappeared
  • An agency left the work unfinished
  • Nobody in the business knows how the current setup actually works
  • Updates keep being postponed because nobody is sure what will break
  • The store has become slow and no one can say why
  • Years of small changes have turned into technical debt
  • There is no safe way to test a change before it goes live

Not all of these are emergencies. Some are, and we treat them that way. Most of what we pick up is simply a store that quietly stopped being maintained.

We take over WooCommerce stores built by other developers

Taking over someone else’s work is normal for us — it is how most of our repair projects begin. We do not need the previous developer to be available, and we do not need the setup to be tidy before we start.

Review of access

We establish what you actually hold: hosting, domain, WordPress admin, payment gateways, integrations and where each account is registered.

Understanding the existing setup

Theme, child theme, plugins, scheduled tasks and anything added along the way, including the parts that are not documented anywhere.

Inspection of custom code

We read what was written specifically for your store, including code sitting outside version control or pasted into the theme.

Technical debt, identified

Outdated plugins, abandoned extensions, code that blocks updates, and workarounds that have quietly become dependencies.

Stabilisation, then repair

First we stop the store from getting worse, then we fix the underlying cause rather than patching over the symptom.

Documentation of what matters

You receive a written record of key dependencies, so whoever works on the store next is not starting from zero.

We do not comment on whoever worked on the store before us. Most of the setups we see were built under time and budget pressure, and the person who built them is rarely the reason they stopped working.

Free initial diagnosis, and where it ends

Free initial diagnosis

  • A conversation about what is happening and when it started
  • A look at the store from the outside and at the signals we can see without access
  • Our first read on the likely cause
  • What we would need access to in order to be certain
  • A rough sense of scope and cost
  • A reply within 48 hours

Full technical audit (paid)

  • Systematic review of theme, plugins and custom code
  • Database, performance and error log analysis
  • Testing of integrations and the full payment flow
  • Written findings with priorities and effort estimates
  • A repair plan you can hand to anyone, including another supplier

The initial diagnosis is free because it is how we both decide whether it makes sense to work together. A full audit is real work and is quoted separately. We would rather say that plainly now than surprise you with it later.

How a repair works

  1. Initial diagnosis. You tell us what is wrong and what changed before it started. We reply within 48 hours.
  2. Technical investigation. With access in place we reproduce the problem, read the logs and find the cause rather than guessing at it.
  3. Repair plan. You get a written plan: what we will fix, in what order, what it costs and what we are deliberately leaving alone. Nothing starts before you agree to it.
  4. Fix and stabilisation. We repair, test on a copy of the store where the risk warrants it, and deploy carefully rather than at the end of a Friday.
  5. Ongoing support, if you want it. Once the store is stable we can keep it that way, or hand it back documented so someone else can.

After the repair

Stores rarely break because of one bad update. They break because nobody was watching. Once yours is stable we can keep updating, monitoring and improving it, or you can take the documentation and carry on without us. Both are a reasonable outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, and it is the most common way our projects start. We do not need the previous developer to hand anything over. We begin by working out what access exists, what the setup contains and what is actually broken.

Usually, yes. We identify which update caused it, whether the conflict is in a plugin, the theme or custom code, and repair the cause. Where a recent backup exists we may restore first to get you selling again, then fix properly.

Yes. Custom checkout logic, bespoke plugins, code added directly to a theme and integrations written for one specific store are all normal for us. We read the code before we change it.

Yes. This includes checkout that does not complete, orders recorded with missing data, gateways that stopped authorising, and mismatches between what the customer paid and what the store recorded.

Always. The initial diagnosis is free and comes back within 48 hours. It tells you what we think is wrong and what it would take to fix. A full technical audit is separate work and is quoted.

Yes, if you want that. Ongoing support covers updates, backups, monitoring, fixes and small development work. It is optional — a repair does not commit you to anything.

Yes. We are based in the EU and work remotely with UK companies. Everything is handled online: access, diagnosis, repairs, deployment and support.

We respond to an initial diagnosis request within 48 hours. How quickly a repair itself can be done depends on what we find and how quickly we get access.

Related services

We also work on integrations, automation and bespoke systems around WooCommerce. If that is closer to what you need, say so in the form and we will take it from there.
